Deaconess Lindsay Fertig-Johnson

Lindsay is a Lutheran deaconess and fundraising professional passionate about building and sustaining relationships.  Previously, she worked at Concordia College – New York where she was the Director of the Center for Leadership and Service, the Director of Engagement, and Campaign Coordinator over the course of her four-year tenure. She holds an Associate of Arts in religion from Cuyahoga Community College, a Bachelor of Arts in global service and theology from Valparaiso University, and a Master of Science in Business Leadership from Concordia College – New York. Lindsay is a candidate for ordained ministries of Word and Sacrament through the Metro New York Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and a Master of Divinity student at Wartburg Theological Seminary. Lindsay is a doodler and published graphic arts who loves creating as a way to connect with the Creator. 

What is your favorite thing about the Festival Center? 

I love the way the Festival Center supports organizations and activists committed to building movements for justice in our city, nation, and world. 

What do you do for fun? 

I love spending time outdoors, hiking, running and biking. I am an avid reader and enjoy all things related to the arts.  

Do you have any pets? 

I have an adorable puppy, Dietrich “DiDi” Bone-hoeffer, and four guinea pigs.
