Greetings Beloved Community,

 2010 is fulfilling its promise of an energetic Servant Leadership School year thus far, even as we are experiencing one of the most financially challenging years for our nonprofit organization in recent memory. We are so grateful for each of you – for your presence, attendance, spirit, and support in many ways.  I am writing to ask for your financial support for the School at this time of abundance in the life of the School – and at this time of real need for additional funding.  Our goal for this email campaign is $7,500.

Community dinners

We invite you to join us on Tuesdays at 6 pm for dinner, and to hear from some exciting speakers.  All are invited to join us at dinner and to hear our speakers – you do not have to be enrolled in a Servant Leadership School class to attend.  During the school term, you’ll hear from people engaged in servant leadership who practice compassion in DC neighborhoods and work for justice throughout the world. 

A suggested donation of $6 covers the cost of a meal.

Tuition

Called to be a “people’s seminary”, we keep tuition rates low so that no one is prevented from participating and sharing their gifts.  We also provide scholarships for participants who may not be able to afford our tuition. Your support is critical to our vision of providing challenging Christian education that motivates and equips people from all walks of life to commit themselves to discipleship and servant leadership.
